I started hosting events as a student, when I volunteered to facilitate meetings, conferences, open mics or pub quizzes.
But since I became a professional moderator in 2021, I count more than 200 hours on stage as moderator and MC, in Brussels and elsewhere in Europe.
I do what I do because events and conferences give us chances to connect and find common ground, and where great ideas and incredible personal and professional relationships are often born.
From big international congresses, EU high-level events to workshops and internal roundtables, or award ceremonies – I enjoy connecting people, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and togetherness, and seeing new partnerships and exciting projects coming to life as a result.

My approach to moderating
I’m not the kind of moderator who will just take a ready-made script and jump on the stage without any prior involvement in discussing the format of the event, or the speakers, or the questions I’ll ask.
My ideal client will involve me from the get-go and we will define the event or panel format together. My favourite question to ask you is, how would you like the audience to feel when they leave the conference room? Based on that, we will co-create a winning formula to design a memorable event.
I aim to make conferences and panels engaging, putting the needs and attention of the audience at the heart, and creating energising events. This often means, less PowerPoints or keynote speeches, more interaction.
Please note that I only work with sustainable organisations that fight for more climate ambition – no if’s or but’s! – and that I do not moderate panels where there isn’t at least one female expert.
